Admission to the School of Fine Arts is a two-step process.

BFA in ART - Undergraduate

Step 1: Submission of University application

If you have not already completed a University of Connecticut application, please complete this step before continuing with your Slideroom submission.

Step 2: A portfolio review showcasing your talent.

All applicants are required to upload a visual portfolio through SlideRoom. Students should complete the application process in Step 1 before submitting a portfolio.

Internal Applicants


BFA or BA in Art

Current UConn students wishing to apply to the BFA or BA in Art will need to submit a portfolio or essay through Slideroom, as well as a Change of School/Program Form or Additional Degree Petition.

BA in Art History

Students wishing to change their major to Art History should contact the Art History Coordinator, Professor Robin Greeley, at Robin.Greeley@uconn.edu.
